SHS sophomore Nate Lopes fights for the ball during the 2017-18 season.  Nate had an excellent sophomore year at Scituate High School this past season and is preparing to have even a better junior season this upcoming year.  Nate participated in the 2018 All Academic Camp at Brandeis University July 10 - 12, 2018.  The mission of the All Academic Camp is to provide top level student athletes with a venue to showcase their basketball talents.  The goal is to provide student-athletes an opportunity to be seen by the best academic institutions in the country. This relationship will reward special student athletes for their academic and athletic abilities and achievements. Congratulations Nate!  Scituate is proud of you.  Just continue to do what you do and do it well!

SHS Freshmen Aidan Sullivan keeps attacks rim during 2015-16 season.  Aidan had an excellent freshmen year at Scituate High School.  Aidan is a natural leader whose IQ, scoring, passing and on the ball defense are well beyond his age.  Aidan will be participating in the 2016 All Academic Camp at Brandeis University July 5 - 7. The mission of the All Academic Camp presented by Hoop Mountain is to provide top level student athletes with a venue to showcase their basketball talents. Our goal is to provide the very best student athletes from around the globe an opportunity to be seen by the best academic institutions in the country. This relationship will reward special student athletes for their academic and athletic abilities and achievements.  Congratulations Aidan and Scituate is proud of you.  Just do what you do & do it well.
NBA Developmental League Tryout - Andrew McCarthy
Andrew McCarthy SHS 2009 captain and graduate after playing a year professionally in Germany in 2015-16 was drafted in the 2016 NBA Developmental league draft and had a tryout with the Portland Red Claws.  Unfortunately Andrew did not make the team, but Scituate is very proud of Andrew and his accomplishments.  We wish Andrew all the best in his future endeavors.

Brendan Honors Scituate Hero: Sergeant Michael Jason Kelley
Click on middle photo to read newspaper article about Brendan being honored by the Rotary Club for his memorial to Scituate's Sergeant Jason Kelley who gave his life serving our country in Afghanistan in 2005. Sergeant Kelley was a proud Scituate High School graduate of the class of 1997.  Sergeant Kelley's sister Colleen was a dedicated team manager and statistician for our 2001 and 2002 teams.  Colleen will always be a member of our program and her brother's sacrifice will never be forgotten by our program, the town of Scituate and our country.  Brendan thank you for being Brendan Barry and honoring Sergeant Michael Jason Kelley.
